It started off with that the door, that horrible door that I boldly walked up to and opened. I wasn't scarred, but looking back, I had reason to be. There had been signs to tell me what was behind the door I had just been too blind or too stupid to see them. That old woman sitting, so cold, so lonely on the steps of the bank. At the beginning of this year, Sweden launched an official wolf hunt. An OFFICIAL wolf hunt. In January, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency said that 27 wolves could be shot, out of a population of 230-240. They ALLOWED this. How? Just how? The announcement followed a parlientary vote in which MPs agreed to restrict world number to 210 for the next three years. Even parliment gave it the all clear. Has the whole world gone completley mad? Licences were handed out to 12,000 hunters, and an estimated 4,500 headed to the central, forested countries of VarmLand and Dalarna. Within 24 hours, 24 wolves had been killed. I don't undestan
